This recording is a formal interview with Roza (Reyzl) Froimovna Benderskaia, nee Gitnik, born 1927 in Nisporeni, and her husband Aleksandr (Srul) Grigoryevich Benderskij, born 1928 in Nisporeni. (Part 1 of 2. See MDV 171)

00:00:46 The formal interview begins. They provide personal information and speak about their family. Benderskij's father, who was also born in Nisporeni, worked at his brother's vineyard. Benderskaia's father was a kosher butcher.
